Carthron P. "Cork" Coyner
C.P. “Cork” Coyner is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Richmond, Virginia, where he has served in multiple capacities over the years, including four terms as congregational president.
Both his Bachelor’s Degree and His MBA were earned at the University of Virginia. He brings with him a business career filled with vast experience in commercial and investment banking, finance, and benefits administration.
He is currently President and Owner of Benefits Administration, Inc., Midlothian, Virginia. He also served as a director of Southern Health Corporation, (HMO) Richmond, VA, and is active in other community organizations.
Cork has been a tireless advocate of mission support and development in the Southeastern District, LCMS. He served a total of 28 years on the Southeastern District Board of Directors, including elected terms as Treasurer of the District. Beyond Board service, Cork has been an active participant in Lutheran Church Extension Fund activities and committee service.
Cork lives with his wife, Suzanne, in Midlothian, Virginia. He has two grown children. He is a stamp collector, an avid reader, and enjoys organ and choral music.
