Pastoral Leadership Institute

The Discipleship to Missional Community Learning Community (D2MC) teaches church leaders a specific rhythm that can be repeated over and over again to help people become closer followers of Christ…and join with others to be a people on mission.

PLI’s Discipleship to Missional Community incorporates collegial learning with coaching that produces ongoing encouragement and accountability.  Additionally, PLI’s D2MC features key staff or lay leader involvement. When one or more key leaders are learning alongside their pastor and spouse, the journey gets easier.

Nothing has changed since Jesus challenged his disciples to “Go and Make Disciples” and yet everything has. The commitment to discipling ordinary people who disciple others can give birth to fresh expressions of the extraordinary mission of God.

MALIM is partnering with PLI to train church leaders to become a group on a mission.
Training is done in congregational teams of 3 to 5 people over a period of 2 ½ years.  So far, 21 teams have completed training in the Southeastern District.

$5,000 will provide a congregational team of 3 – 5 with coaching support and cover expenses for 5 four-day meetings over the 2 ½ year period.
